i apologize in advance if some of you may find this thread a bit morbid What will you guys do with your collection when you are no longer around? will you pass if off to one person (perhaps your son for example) or will you piece it off to multiple people that have expressed interest in your pieces over the years? |

Once I'm gone I'm obviously not going to care overly much ![]() |

Well seen as the kids are already getting regular payments from the bank of Mum and Dad, they may as well take the watches as well. So what will a rather battered Navi be worth in fifty years, I will be 102 then so about time to pop off. ![]() Ian |

No question...my son will get them for sure. The question is at what point would I start giving them to him? I think it would be much cooler to share my passion with him as he grows up, so I will most likely pass them along to him one at a time throughout the years. |

As far as I am concerned the family can choose the pieces that they want and I guess the rest will be sold - so maybe one day (in the very distant future) all those people who PM me wanting to know what's in my collection will find out through the Buy / Sell / Trade section here ![]() I don't think that I will be passing my watches along to family while I am alive, if the passion develops then I will help them build their own collection. |

I have thought about this. I have always told my now gf that if we are married and something were to happen to me I would want her to keep them if there is an emotional attachment, at least one when she feels she misses me. After that if my immediate family would like them find if not sell them. |

Well I would have liked to be wearing a watch that used to belong to my grand dad or even my dad. Unfortunately there isnt much left from my grand dad and my dad doesn't see what I see in watches. So I would like to think that at least one or two of my pieces (possibly some of the finer ones that I am yet to acquire) would stay in the family so one day my grand son would look at his wrist and be able to say "this used to be on my grand dad's wrist and now its on mine, I hope it will be on my sons wrist one day" |

any wacthes that have when I go are willed to my brother. I've seen too many arguements between family members(not mine) for who gets what when someone dies, so we got a will. |

Wills are gerat. However I suggest you put in there if anyone is to contest the will they are automatically removed from the will completely. THings get funny. I have also seen this with many people. |

Whatever I have will go to my son or him and his son(s) if there are any. Hopefully I'll be leaving them to my great-grandkids also, I have no intention of going anytime soon. And I have a feeling that one of them will be staying with me. I need to get started increasing my collection from my one lonely Blackbird. |
