I received an email from a fellow from Mexico, and he said he purchased this NEW in 1993, and even sent the documents, and boxes which are correct for the time, and they are stamped and dated and everything, but I've never seen this watch, though the name sort of rings a bell.. its a Titanium and Gold watch, thus the Titan Gold. Initially I wanted to say Fake, but it seems legit, just very unlike any other Breitling I've seen... he's also had the battery replaced twice by an authorized Breitling Dealer.. anyone know anything about this peice?

I know this type of watch. Many years ago Breitling tried to offer a replacement watch, while You have Your watch at the service. Therefore they have built this type of watch. On the back You will see an engraving saying "not for sale". There never where any papers with this watch.
As the system was not really successful, all ADs had to return those watches.

That's great info, Thomas. Really interesting about the loaner watch concept. I wonder if other companies have tried that?

"Not for sale" huh?
I bet everybody on here is gonna want one now!
