Is there a Japanese version of Code Yellow?
This is a C.Y. that my local AD showed me, and the others seen in this forum are exactly the same.

and here you can see the C.Y. in the japanese Breitling web

Can you see the difference?

I think they're the same. The reason they may look different is from the flash in your photo.

Looks the same to me. That might be the polished version, I know they're making 1000 polished and 1000 brushed, but they're both available worldwide as far as I know.

Yours looks to have a yellow chrono seconds hand whereas the .jp site looks unpainted.

This could be Breitling using a prototype for their publicity shots. All the stock photos, and Basel pics, seem to have the unpainted hand whereas the few wrist shots around all seem to have a painted hand.

Mr Sharkmouth, you win the contest. Congratulations!
I guess Altair could tell us if that's true. Or there is another version of C.Y. for Japan.
Because there are/were special versions for the japanese market.
Gonna PM him.

You might be better off asking aleister as he is the one who lives in Japan!

There isn't a special Japan LE of the Code Yellow. The Japan LE for 2010 were the Navitimer Stratos and the Chronomat Blue Impulse.

Since I can't read Japanese, damn my American public school education :guns: , I figured I'd ask what the deal is with the Blue Impulse Chronomat. What's it the 50th anniversary of and why was it just in Japan? Pretty cool looking watch, though I'm not too big on logos when I don't know what the hell they're for. :?

50th anniversary of more making money with lots of limited editions until Breitling fans don't care about those editions and buy another brand with real limited editions.
That's what written in japanese.

It's the 50th anniversary of Blue Impulse, the JASDF's (Japan Air Self Defence Force) equivalent of the Blue Angels / Red Arrows / Frecce Tricolori / etc
