acceldebt wrote: Choose the one with the Steel Bracelet because I do happen to have both the original 5 segment per link "Old Nav/Cosmo bracelet as well as the later 423A 7 segment per link Navitimer bracelet for these pieces. I also have a two tone "Old Nav/Cosmo" 5 segment bracelet for my bi-color Old Nav. I switch from strap to bracelet quite often on all my B Chronos but I ususally take photos of these two on strap because I think it gives them more of a "period" look. The black dial Old Nav usually is on the black calf as shown but the display back Cossie has three straps that alternate. I do like the Bund military on it now but it is sometimes on its original 22-18mm brown croco or black calf as shown below. Glad you like the shots... ![]() Cheers, Ron ![]() ![]() |

Ron, I especially like the 2 tone one. But I didn't know Navitimers came with 5 rowed bracelets I though they always had the 7 rowed bracelets. Now if you would put that GREAT Chronomat Evolution with the diamond bezel on a steel bracelet you could actually walk out of the house with it on. |

acceldebt, actually Navitimers originally only had 5-row bracelets for them.. the 7-row Navitimer bracelet was created afterwards. |

Admin, I didn't know that because I really didn't start liking Navitimers until recently. I always just looked at pictures of them online but had never seen them up close. My first 2 Lings were obtained outside of stores. The first one I got from a friend from New York and the second one I got from the guy that sells me other jewelry who is also a client of mine. So I had not really tried on various models in stores. In the pictures I always thought they looked flat and weird. Then I started looking at them in stores and I really started liking them. One of the things I like the most are these 7 rowed bracelets though. Naviman's is great because it's the big one that is 24 MM at the lugs. He is not happy though about the non waterproof deal, he's accustomed to swimming with his Ling on because he has a pool at his house. I'd like to see Breitling come out with a waterproof 2 tone Navitmer at 46 MM or larger. You mentioned something one time recently about a Navitimer legend or something, are there any pictures available yet ? |

As long as the Navitimers use the slide rule the way they do right now, they will never have better water resistance unfortunately.. Yes.. the Montbrillant Legende.. it is around 47mm http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... r_138.html I've been wanting to get a Navitimer Heritage lately.. I like the World, but I really like the Contrasting Dials and the world does not have those. Might have to dilly dally before buying the Motors T and get a Navitimer Heritage first haha Not quite a full Ling at 43mm. |

Admin, If you get a Navitimer before you get the WHOLE LING I am flying to Canada to verbally assault you in front of your girlfriend. The Bentley has the Navitimer style slide rule bezel deal and IT IS waterproof. Get the Bentley and then you can go back to messing around with 3/4/ Lings. |

Acceldebt, The Bentleys do not have the Navitimer Style slide rule, it has the newer style slide rule that uses the gear inside and is made of two peices (not including the gears).. the Navitimer style rules just have the 1 peice... That's what I meant ![]() I was just joking haha.. just wanted to see what you'd say ![]() |

The first one, I'm somewhat biased towards watches with dates. |
