What kind of discount should I try to negotiate for when buying my SA?
I've been told it can be as much as 25%?!

Anyone from London who could recommend a decent AD that gives good discount?

Not sure about London. I am in Canada I have heard of people negotiating up to 40-45% off.

40-45% off is that an AD? If so they must be a family member or something.

I know a few people that get 40-45 percent but its because of certain reasons.

Never heard of anyone buying a new Breitling from an AD for 40% - 45% off. Not even discontinued models get discounted that much. From what I've heard; discounts in UK are harder to get. Here in the states 30% off is not uncommon.

In the UK I would recommend speaking to Andrew Michaels (see link at the top of the page).

I recently purchased my first Breitling from them & was over the moon with the choice, service & price. I was lucky enough to visit his shop (as I wanted to collect mine to have it resized) and was surprised that he stocks about 700-750 Breitlings. Other jewellers in the UK are lucky to have 30 or so - so if you want to see any in the flesh I'd definitely recommend a visit if possible (otherwise he will ship).

I managed to get close to a 30% discount at Tourneau of all places... unfortunately I was paying with a gift certificate which meant I wasn't allowed a discount.

Canadian dealer price is 55% of retail so 45% is cost (ignoring overhead, commission, etc).
