Are the pushers and crown on a B13055 Crosswind two tone, solid 18k or plated? Thanks.
I feel that they should be 18k.

Neither solid nor plated. They are rolled gold, which is a steel core with a relatively thick layer of gold (i.e. a piece of rolled out gold) laminated to it. The steel core is for strength.

Thanks very much for that valuable information. I was looking at one to purchase and it had a very small amount of steel showing at the tip of the crown. The watch is 100% genuine but the crown threw me. Again, great info.

You're welcome! :D Yes the gold can wear through after a pretty long time (or depending on how the watch is treated/polished, etc), but Breitling can replace crowns and push-pieces at service time so it's not a major issue. I'm guessing you were looking at an older used piece then?
