Just a question, is it possible to have a real breitling in the outside and a fake mechanism inside? will the movment fit perfectly? or will get stuff like sunken date wheel and other stuff

its because i am buying a super avenger, already checked real in the replica section but since i has no documents, just dont know... a bit afraid i think

looks real in the outside, should i be worried? the seller seems honest but...

anyway opinions are welcome

the watch is question is this one

As you have been told in your replica thread. It is real. This is not my conclusion as I do not say whether watches are real or fake, I leave it to the experts. One of those experts SHARKMOUTH has commented that its real. If he says it is then its real.

I've thought about this too, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong.... But I don't think the movements are worth enough in comparison to the watch for crooks to want to switch. To me there's just no scenario that makes sense enough to want to do something like that over what's probably a fairly lucrative replica market. I just don't see that happening on something like a SA.

The only thing I'll say is that if you're uncomfortable about buying it then don't buy it. It's not like there's a shortage of SA's out there, you'll find another one with all the paperwork, maybe even from someone on here and you won't have anything to worry about.

Yes/no/yes.

I would imagine the Asian 7750 can be made to fit a genuine case but I've never heard of it being done. Unlike putting a genuine 7750 in a replica case which is occasionally done. They will not be a perfect fit but I'm sure a good modder could manage it. The sunken date wheel is only really visible when the date is at 4.5 rather than 3 so not an issue for the SA.

The swapping of movements could, in theory, happen with any used watch, even with perfect paperwork since serials will match the case back.

The only way to be 100% sure is to buy new.

Movements can cost a lot of money depending on exactly what it is. I have a movement from a vintage piece that I bought for a good amount of money. Its displayed in my watch winder. I love it.
