As Txturbo says, there's qute a few threads on here about grey-market dealers so I won't go into the ins and outs of them, but if they are claiming to offer a better warranty than the manufacture then that is completely and utterly false IMO.

That's like saying that "Joe's Used Cars Sales" warranty is better than BMW's manufacter's warranty, even though Joe may actually be employing a spotty 16 year old work-experience kid as his "mechanic", and definitely won't have access to genuine BMW parts.

What I'm saying is that there is no way on earth that any grey market dealer can offer a warranty even approaching what Breitling can. It's just not possible. My advice would be that if you go the grey-market route, just assume you don't have a warranty at all. If you have a problem with the watch, forget about using the grey-market dealer's ALLEGED warranty, and just bit the bullet and send it to Breitling. Yes, you'll have to pay for it but at least you know it's fixed correctly using genuine parts. The money you save on the purchase should be used to offset the cost of repair.

I think when these gray dealers say "better warranty" they mean longer warranty, i.e. 3 years instead of Breitling's 2 years.

What kind of service you will get is different question, I doubt you will get anything better than B's service.

i get the same or better deal from my AD, not worth it
