Any of you guys ever put a 44mm Steelfish on mesh? I'm curious to see what it'd look like. Strikes me it might have a retro charm.

Haven't tried it but my initial reaction is the Ocean Classic, even if you could find one in 24mm, is a polished bracelet and would look a bit off on the brushed Steelfish.

Doesn't the steelfish take a 22mm strap? Either way, I don't really like the mesh bracelets, so I wouldn't try it.

Yes it's a 22mm and the OC mesh is 24mm for the Heritage. Not sure if they are making mesh on different in different sizes.

As for appearance -
:guns: it looks awesome. It has to be worn to be appreciated. It appears rather dull in pics. In the metal it is darn near blingy. And OMG comfortable!

I see, I was a little backwards there. I think that the thing that I like the least about it is that it's "blingy". I much prefer leather or rubber straps. And I agree that a polished bracelet would look weird on a brushed watch.
