I know these are two different kind of watches but what would you rather buy?

Well this is a Breitling forum, so you can guess the sentiment, but I really have a hard time even comparing these watches - there are virtually no similarities between them at all so it really does come down to what type of watch you are looking for.

For me, it would be the 6.75, but they are both very nice watches, just vastly different.

Try both watches, one right after the other...
These watches are totally and completely different!

In car terms? Cadillac Escalade (the Bentley) vs the Mercedes ML (the Rolex) :D

Absolutely without a doubt the GMTII, one of the nicest watches out there in my opinion.

I typed out a long winded answer right now and deleted it because at the end of it I was still undecided. Tough call.

I have a 6.75 in my collection and I just put a deposit down on the GMT II. My vote is for the GMT II....but it's a very close race.

I own a 6.75 (not the Speed version though) and I don't own a GMT IIc, so that says what I'd choose.

That said though, if the Rolex was just a little larger - say around the 43/44mm mark - then I'd choose that over the Bentley as I like the in-house movement in the Rolex and it's more understated.

However, as has been said, these are two radically different watches. It's not like comparing apples and oranges : it's more like comparing apples and squirrels! Apart from both telling the time these watches are as different as can be.

The new GMT Master II is a fantastic looking watch. I love the new ceramic bezel. I would choose the Rolex over the Bentley.

As I've said before and I'll say it again, Breitling is good however Rolex is great. I own both and I'm confortable making this statement.
