Hi, does anyone know how to remove the strap on an avenger skyland? Can't find any openings where I can stick the tool in. Where can i buy the tools needed to change the strap and remove the buckle on my Avenger skyland blacksteel. Thank you in advance!

Bergeon 6767F is the tool.

http://www.watchtool.co.uk is the place to buy from even I'd you aren't in the UK.

You have to ease the tool down the side of the strap, pushing the rubber in slightly to gain access to the springbar. With the right tool is a simple job. I think Admin may have one a quick video demo of changing a strap on YouTube.

:yeahthat

Also, you can try the Bergeon 6111 (what I have) as it has a large, flat fork as well that makes strap changes a cinch. It also has the fine tip for bracelets.

And most months.

Would be really cool if this site had a search function so that people didn't have to ask the same question all the time........

Dave you are more than welcome, your strap/bracelet changing tool collection scared me the other week.

Now on the higher end of the market we need to as Stef about his new piece of kit.

Make a FAQ and lock threads that ask questions covered in the FAQ.

Evidence would suggest that wouldn't work as there already is an FAQ - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml

Putting a "FAQ - Please read before posting" at the top of the forum would cut down to some degree on people asking the same questions. Would it stop all of them? No. However, the cost of putting up such a FAQ is basically nothing. This is pretty common practice on forums.

Well it ain't not my forum so I can't do it.

We have had rules at the top of the Buy / Sell / Trade section forever and still no one reads or follows them.
