My friend has asked me to help him sell his Avenger Seawolf Chrono (white dial with pro II steel bracelet). However, the watch came only with the box - no warranty and certification papers (he lost the papers when he moved from the US to Singapore to work). Based on the advice given by Sharkmouth in an earlier thread in the Replica forum, he had since brought it to Breitling (Singapore) to get a replacement COSC (this will also prove that it's authentic).
I am interested in the watch myself, but do not know enough of the watch to make a decision. Thus, I would like to seek help from the experts on a figure as to how much it's worth (without the papers)? (the price for a new one as given in the BSource website is US$3880). I happen to know that the watch was purchased some time back in late 2008 and had never been serviced, and that the warranty is going to expire real soon, so should the missing warranty papers has an effect in any way? (The staff in B(Singapore) told him its computer system is not linked to that of BUSA, and so B(Singapore) is not able to tell him when the warranty ends. I find this strange - I thought all the Breitling service centres world-wide are linked together???).
Thanks in advance.
