Well those are two completely different style watches. What exactly are you looking for in this piece? Where will you mainly be wearing it?

I will wear it most every day, so it will be in a variety of settings. I just sold my SA to make the upgrade so I know I can handle the size of the 6.75 but also love how classy the B01 looks! I work as a sells rep...

I would say go for the b01. It's probably better for an everyday wearer as it has a more practical size as well as a decent water resistance capability. The 6.75, like most navitimer style watches has little to no water resistance, which would make me hesitate in using this style of watch as an everyday wearer.

6.75 is rated at 100m, how much water resistance fo you need for an everyday watch??????

As Beyond Man says the watches are very different - try them both on and see which one 'speaks' to you.

Roff, my mistake. I thought the 6.75 would have that same water resistance as a navi, since it is based off that styling. I guess paying the extra $$$ gets you that extra functionality.

K-fell. Just go and try them both on and ask your self which you can see your self wearing everyday. There is quite a noticeable size difference between the two watches as well as styling. Good luck with your decision.

If you work as a sales rep...as I do...I'd go with the B01. I wear my 6.75 very infrequently on sales calls because of it's bling factor. The B01 is more versatile in my opinion in that it looks great with a suit or great on the weekend as a casual watch....don't get me wrong I love my 6.75 and the caseback is one of the coolest looking backs that Breitling has ever made but I prefer not to wear it in front of clients.

I don't work in sales myself, so didn't feel I could get away with posting it  , but that was the first thing that sprung to my mind too. A salesman with a massive polished 6.75 on his wrist may look a little too flash and showy. Just a personal observation.

That said, only you can decide which you prefer, and ultimately you should buy your watch for you and you alone, and not for what other people think. Just try them both and see which speaks to you more.

Fellas! I apreciate your coments! All great points. I pulled the trigger today on the 6.75 Speed Black Dial on steel!! I had to order it and hope to get it next week. To say the least I am excited out of my mind!

I agree that the B01 is a better watch for work and I have other watches that I can switch it out with, including a Omega super ocean.

It was a tough decision but after looking at both of them, I just fell in love with the 6.75, plain and simple!

And that is the very best reason for buying any watch! Congrats on the purchase.

In the end after trying them both on I fell in love with the wrist presence of the 6.75. I will post pics as soon as the watch comes in...
