a 7&1/4 wrist should accomodate a 48mm watch easily.

I can't imagine that it would look ridiculous at all. Here is one on my 6.5" wrist, I think it fits and looks great!

So much depends on what you personally consider to look ridiculous. A lot about wearing large watches is your own attitude and belief in whether you can carry it off or not.

My own stance on large watches is that provided the lugs don't overhang the side of your wrists then it generally looks OK. But that's just my opinion. There are those out there who think that anything larger than a Submariner is somehow part of the big watch "craze", so its all down to personal preference and what you believe looks good on you.

Basically if you think a watch looks too big on you, then it's too big..... for you. Ultimately you have to wear the thing and if you are in any way unsure that looks OK, you won't wear it much, I guarantee.

BUT having said all that, then purely by the numbers, a 7.25" wrist should be able to accomodate an SA just fine.

My wrist is exactly 7" and it fits and looks fine to me. Don't have any pics right now, I'll try to make some soon.

My wrists are 9.75 inches and the SA fits me perfectly....kidding

You should be perfectly fine with your wrist size as long as YOU are comfortable with it! If you like it, then buy it :lingsrock:

If you like the SA why not just go for the Avenger, same watch....almost ....45mm instead of 48mm.

That's what I'm doing, since my wrists are only 6 3/4...also it's 1mm thinner...

because this is going to be a trade of my CA M1 for the super avenger, i think the trade is great for me, since i think the super avenger is pretier and have more value than the
CAM1

wouldnt you do the same?

No problem, glad to help. If you need anything else just let me know and I'll do my best. Hope you enjoy your SA as much as I enjoy mine, it was the first in my Breitling collection, it's now 2.5 years old and I still love wearing it.

If I had your wrist size, I´de already be a happy owner of the white dial SS SA. But with my 6 1/5 wrists I´ll just have to settle on admiring that beauty from a far. :(
