After the critics I decided to go out and buy another bracelet, so I bought a new handmade calf strap and a 18mm buckle.

The strap has a one year warranty and the seller also gave me a removal tool.

Let me be the first to say that I much prefer that to the other one you posted.

I assume it was a good price too? Is it genuine croco or croco-print calf? (The "Louisiana Crocodile Calf" stamping is a little confusing as croco and calf are two different types of leather). But either way, it's a much nicer looking strap IMO.

RIOS 1931 are hand made in Germany. RIOS 1931 watch strap guarantees carefully selected leather and skilled, lasting craftsmanship. All straps are handmade Art Manuel.
With this high-end technique the edges are smoothed with heat, sanded down and then painted 5 times with edge dye. Loops and buckle flap are stitched by hand. Very well and detailed louisiana crocodile grain printing. Very close resemblance to the real thing. Very convincing. Slightly padded of 5.5mm at the lugs end. Used by many watch companies. Easily cost 3-4 times more.

Thats about a million times better than the other one. Youve got the general OEM look at a fraction of the cost. Good call on the swap out
