well guys have some crappy news. Looks like i will be taking my motors t back to the AD to get checked out. I noticed that it was notholding a full 42 hour charge. I setup 2 different tests where i wound the watch and let it sit flat on its back in the case. the first time the watch didnt make it past 24 hrs so i tried again and tried my best to measure 40 full turns of the crown and this time i got roughly 34 hrs. So i think that my AD might have to send it back to B-canada. anyone else ever have this issue?

As I said in PM there are a number of possible causes. Most likely for me would be either dirt somewhere in the movement that is causing excessive inertia that is overcoming the power from the mainspring, a low apmlitude balance ora problem with the keyless works that is not engaging the crown gear with the winding mechanism.

Roff thanks for the pm the other day i do appreciate your time. I cant believe that it could getdirty this fast...could it? i mean i bought the watch in February of this year and it sits under my sleeve 70% of the time i wear it and i really only wear it 2-3 days a week. whatever it is i just want it fixed since its under warranty and this should not be happening.

It would be dirt that was already in the watch - it doesn't take much if it's between an arbor and a jewel.

Post your results. I also have a Motors T and it does seem to have a short reserve, although I have been too lazy to time it.
It's no where near my Omega PO which, as far as I know, should have the same reserve.

Thanks,
Peter

Will do Pete. sorry to hear that this is happening to you as well. when i ran the test and noitced that it didnt even hit 36 hours i was pissed. is it possible for you to try a little test of your own and post the results? just wind it fully and then let it sit and see what kind of results you get.
