Just when I thought my mind was settled on a NOS Navitimer Chronomatic 24H LE on a Navi bracelet for a very good price I have now seen a 2010 Blackbird brushed with bracelet for a similar price and now I really don't know what to go for!!

This:

Or this:

The 24H is obviously a Ltd Ed. and will have a 2 year warranty for £2,350 (RRP £3,780) or the approx 6 month old Blackbird which is £2,250 (RRP £5,080). The 24H is in the UK at an AD, the Blackbird would be coming from Hong Kong.

What to do?

I really can't make my mind up between the two!

Stef

You seem to have a fairly balanced collection in terms of sport vs casual so it makes the decision a little more difficult.

Personally, I like the Blackbird but you can't go wrong with either one.

Must confess I am leaning towards the Chronomatic. I love the 24H dial and it's all in the perfect size (unlike the Navi Cosmo I had a while ago).

Damn this is a hard choice, I'm now thinking more towards the BB as I already have my vintage Chronomatic and two other Navitimers...........................

Hey Stef - the Chronomatic is an LE. Enough said IMO.

No problem at all with the BB - it's a great watch - but the CM LE is a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

I would go for the Blackbird personally, the chrono is similar to what you have is it not? I know it's an LE too so that does make a difference! At least you have a choice. :D

Cheers

The Chrono, aside from the 24H dial is similar to my vintage one.

Financially it makes sense to go for the BB as it would offer the better return if I decided I didn't like it.

in terms of moving it on after id say you would get the same back asa you paid, seems most BB shand are about 50% rrp and there are always people looking fopr the 24hr chronomatic

dont get me wrong i love the BB and its on my list but at 38% off NOS that CM is a steal, the BB will come up again, they always do

Chrono-matic for me, but I'd hold out for the blue dial version.

A 1 of 1000 LE beats a BB in my book.
