Leafing through the chronolog I took a notion of turning over my emergency for a NEW aerospace advantage plus co-pilot module.....what do you think?

lets be honest....I will never need the transmitter and I'm sure a nice blue emergency with all the bits would be relatively easy to sell for around 2k£

or will I miss the 'daddy' of unique watches too much.........cannot do this without selling something as I already have the superocean and avenger on order (will prob go for the coral SO)

oooohhh dilemmas

Hmmmm, I would say it all depends on WHY you are selling it. For example if you have simply gone off it, then fine - sell away. Likewise if you need some cash to pay your mortgage or something, then once again - sell that baby without a second's thought!! Although we love our Breitlings, they are only luxuries at the end of the day.

BUT, if you still really like it (and aren't about to be thrown out on the street!), then I would suggest keeping it as I can guarantee that you will always have a little pang for it at sometime in the future. And yes it is a very unique watch. If you wanted to "jazz up" your Emergency a little, why don't you have a look for a UTC module for it? Just an idea.....

Really well said, Driver8.

I will build on that idea by asking why you want the UTC module? Do you really need that feature, or are you just lookng for something a bit different? Consider how you will use it, and that may help too.

As painful as it is, I would wait until you get to see the Seawolf and coral SO first. Your new Aerospace may fall to the back burner quickly when you're out and about showing off that sweet, orange beauty -- did I mention I own a coral-dial SO ;) You're already getting a new Ling. Instead of piling on and getting two at once, make sure you still want the Aerospace six months from now. Besies, your financial situation could be different then, and you may get to keep your E!

I can't believe I'm actually suggesting anyone be patient and not make an impulse buy (please don't tell my wife), but that seems like the way to go.

Aha! A loophole to get that Aerospace after all!

And if he doesn't like it...well...you could always babysit it for him
