Hello All

Looking at this piece for a while and would appreciate thoughts on the following -

a. Heard about the water resistance issues with the Navitimer line, but the only thing water related i plan on doing with this would be wash it once a week with soap and water. Is this ok ?

b. Does anyone have pics that compare the size of the SA and the Chronomatic 49 ?

Many thanks

I wouldn't put the watch under a faucet as the pressure can be a problem, but washing in standing water won't be a problem. Can't help you with comparison pictures, sorry.

I don't have pictures of a comparison, but I've owned a couple of SA's and tried a CM49, and I can say that the CM49 wears much flatter but quite a bit wider diameter wise than the SA. For the most part the diameter thing is an optical illusion due to the size of the crystal, but I would strongly recommend trying one on before buying. I like big watches, but the CM49 was a bit too much for my liking.
