Hi all!

I got a colt quartz II for my 21st birthday two years ago, I love it to bits and can see myself having a long and expensive relationship with Breitling!!!

I have no intention of upgrading yet (I am a cash strapped student). I do need to get a new strap and was thinking on getting the Professional II. Does anyone Have any Ideas of how to get one at a reduced price? Where I live (England) they retail at £275 (about $550us)

Cheers

3 ways...buy a watch with bracelet cheap from america, cape cod it then sell on the watch keeping the bracelet

alternatively used bracelets pop up on ebay now and again....be careful you get a genuine one though, plenty of fakes around!

finally, markup in uk on bracelets etc is substantial....try haggling with your AD...you never know!, esp if you dangle the loyal customer of the future carrott :D

It's also worth checking out eBay for Pro II bracelets. Occasionally they come up for sale from individuals or (much as it pains me to say the name!) you could try Authenticwatches.com as they carry stocks of bracelets at much cheaper prices than UK AD's. They also sell on eBay. The big issues you may have with them as a UK buyer is their no international Paypal rule, their "instant payment required" stipulation for eBay sales which is kind of tough if they don't accept Paypal( !), oh and their apparent inability to reply to emails! If you can sort out buying one without having to worry about any direct contact with them then you should be fine as apparently their stock is all genuine.

Gemnation.com is another one that sometimes has bracelets but their stock list is pretty small.
