Hi All,

I have been looking at owning a prestigious watch for many years now but always found an excuse to spend my money on something else... usually bills, however the recent milestone of becoming 30 years of age has seemed like a good time to have a small spend up!
I have sampled a few of the Breitlings I liked the look of in my local AD, due to the small size of my arms/wrists the chrono colt was the only one that didnt look daft on my wrist, to be fair I think it is a great looking watch even though its at the lower end of breitlings range.
I would like to know if anyone has used the online distributor in the below link as the discount they are offering over my local Breitling retalier is around 600 pounds.. not to be sniffed at!
I have been reading on this forum about the approach to unauthorised sellers buying these watches through authorised dealers then them polishing/rubbing off the markings in order to cover their tracks?! Some posts say this happens, others say the contrary? Should a breitling coming from one of these unauthorised sources still have all the paperwork that you would get through an AD?? What are the questions I should be asking??

Here is the link:

Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty comprehensive link. There seem to be fewer grey market places removing serial numbers these days, but it's still a risk if the dealer doesn't explicitly say that they are intact, and you almost never get a Breitling warranty.
