Sorry if this topic has been beaten to death previously, but is anyone aware of an alternative Breitling stainless steel bracelet for the Superocean Heritage (in either size, but preferably the larger)? I'm not a fan of the mesh. In addition, what metrics are relevant in trying to find one? Is it the interhorn size? What about the diameter or thickness?

Thanks in advance.

Breitling bracelets are fairly unique to models because most have shaped endlinks that fit the case. You would need to find a straight ended bracelet withthe right size lug width - can't think of any current ones off the top of my head.

Thanks. What about leather straps?

Any of them will fit, same with rubber. Just need to get the correct width.

Thanks again! By width, do you mean "interhorn size"?

I've always had a sneaking suspicion that the Speed bracelet from the Motors/6.75 might fit the SOH as it's 24mm wide and has straight endlinks.

However (and I can't stress this enough!) I strongly suggest you find a friendly AD (or someone with both models) who will allow you to try before you buy! I thought the Speed bracelet would fit my SA for these very reasons and when I tried it, it just didn't quite sit right at the lugs - there are pictures of that test of mine on here somewhere.

But that's the only OEM bracelet option I can think of that has a chance of fitting.

EDIT - and to answer your question - yes width of bracelet/strap must match the interhorn (or lug) width.

Yeah, the straight end speed was the only possibility that I could think of, but not sure whether there is enough room for the spring bar to connect.

Thanks for the info. This is disappointing. I'm sure the mesh bracelet has a lot of fans, but it has to be a polarizing design among this (I mean Breitlingsource.com) constituency. The Superocean heritage seems to be such a conservative diver design. It would be nice to have a more mainstream bracelet offered. (I understand that the mesh probably harkens back to the original diver.)

Any pics of the SOH on a leather strap would be appreciated. Thanks again.
