Hi all

This weekend marked the second meet of the Duxford 10.

Sadly, due to personal reasons, 3 of the 10 were unable to make it. Lou Arty and Alex. We surely missed their company and friendship....but we ate and drank their share, just to mark their memory....:-! Which they now owe us for.

Happily we all chat on a regular basis, being the finest of good friends, we will see each other soon enough. so the few went into battle.

After an excellent evening of food drink and not watching football, some of us went to the RAF Cosford Air Show. See you all next year guys.

We did manage to take a few photo's to mark the occasion...

The group before Rik arrived to spoil things....late as per. Spacer had taken his wife upstairs to "Freshen Up" b-)

Verner, Mr Al, Nick Stef and me!

Despite the excellent beer, the watches demanded attention....

This was a part of the selection of watches brought along.

Rik just saw the bill for one round of drinks...

Mrs Davey & Mrs Spacer provided the beauty and elegance.

The Red Arrows remind everyone in the world that we are the greatest in the world. Nobody ever argues. Well, there are 9 of them usually.

See you all soonest chums!

Nice one :lingsrock:

Whoever from that group owns the two beautiful Chrono-Matics (one vintage, one not-so-vintage), can you please post some closer shots of them? Thanks

Thanks for the right up and great pics of what looked like an excellent GTG.

I live in the UK and may be interested in gate crashing one of your meetings in the future if they are open to all.

A great time with great friends! (and no hangover.....how the hell did that happen after Vern and I attempted to drink Telford dry?)

Always good to see another friend at our yearly meets.

The Chrono Matic 24 is one of my charges.

This American expat would like to crash an event as well. I'm working out of Hereford until November or so...

Sonyman you do not need to be invited.

As our group site (thanks Rik) says:

"In 2010 a crack watch nerd group escaped from a maximum security forum to the internet underground. If you have a problem, and if you can find them, maybe you can join . . . the B Team!"
