Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and to the Breitling "community." I purchased my first Breitling last week. Superocean Steelfish X-Plus, black face, steel bracelet.

Are their any other owner's out there? How are you enjoying your piece?

I really love the weight and size of this watch. I was originally going to go with the non-X-Plus, but I prefered the extra size and the all steel (no black writing) bezel.

Looking forward to reading up on past posts!

Thanks,
Nick

Congrats on the purchase! I have a SuperOcean Steelfish .. not the X-Plus, but not the Regular SuperOcean either.. it was the in-between model.. size of the SuperOcean, but look of the steelfish X-plus and has the helium valve. Blue face... I love it.. Its one of my Permanent B's.. also quite rare since it was only made for 1 year.

Nickmarascia,

Welcome aboard, it's good to see that you got the Steel Bracelet on your new Ling. Nothing but steel or Gold bracelets are allowed here. Read the past posts and you will see that if you fall into the degraded state of wearing Lings with anything but steel or Gold bracelets you may be subjected to severe verbal assaults. It's great to have a new Ling enthusiast on board.

That's good to hear, I don't want to start off on the wrong foot!

FYI, They have been making this watch with both the arrow and square second hand. I was slightly freaking out once I came home with my watch as it didn't match what was shown in all the pitcures on Breitling's website. I called my merchant and they verified with Breitling that they are making them both ways now. I also called Breitling myself and they verified the same as well.

That sounds right. I just wanted to make sure people knew in case they got confused like I did.

Thanks for the info!
