Wow, you got me scared now; thinking I may be one of the first to post up a new "fake" Breitling. I even looked it up online and in the new catalog, and no "Swiss Made" shown on either.

No, no its fine. Mine is a 2009 manufacture and it says "Swiss Made." I don't know when the change was made but some say "swiss made" and some don't. Remember you can buy a watch straight from the AD's case and it might have been made 2 years ago or 1/2 year ago. Your watch is REAL.

I bought an Omega "Great White" new from the AD's dispaly 2 weeks ago and that watch hasn't been made in 4 or 5 years.

There seems to be a trend to putting Swiss Made back on the dials across the brand, never a formal change but it's been happening for the last 18 months or so.

Meh? I've never really been into metal bracelets. I usually put my watch on and don't take it off until I change watches, could be days or weeks; whenever the mood hits me. I wear it working, sleeping, showering, fishing, boating, mowing the lawn, what have you. The rubber straps are more comfortable and don't show scuffs as easily. Oh, and the rubber straps don't yank out my wrist hairs.

I've had the same one for a month now. I've worn it in court with a suit, and while jumping off the roof of a boat into the ocean, and it looked good the whole time. The deployant clasp is a thumbprint magnet but it's great.
