Doctor Diesel,

I wasnt aware that its been that long since they discontinued the yellow dial SO. I've never seen a coral dial SO but absolutely love the yellow Seawolf.

I'm sure its not going to be an easy task.

best of luck

I would go with the ASW I believe it is much thicker and bigger on the wrist. I have a yellow dial CA M1 and I love it! It also depends on if you like the Titanium. It looks like you have a Titanium Emergency. If you have a yellow dial Emergency I would go with the Coral.

My Emergency is Blue, must say I do fancy yellow but I think you have to see coral in the metal to appreciate its subtleties.....I fear the seawolf will be too much like my SA, hence the SO choice

as you say...a nice dilemma

Yellow SeaWolf! Just the larger size, lug width and generally beefier proportion. It looks great with the yellow dial! Are you thinking of the titanium bracelt or Diver Pro strap? I wonder if the Diver Pro strap comes with a titanium clasp on the Sea Wolf or the regular stainless?
Even if you go with the SO Coral, that is an unusually lovely colour as well.
Cheers,
Carl

Hey Carl, I think all diver pros come with a stainless buckle and there is no option of titanium. Although I'm not a big fan of titanium anyway I've often thought there should be a titanium folding clasp option for use with straps if you have a ti watch. It would just bug me if I had a ti watch and wanted a strap, to then have to have a steel clasp......

Yeah, that's kind of why I asked. I imagine you would go with the ti bracelet, anyway. Kind of like my Blacksteel, I love the look of it with the Diver Pro rubber, but it would be ruined without the blackened clasp as well. The Ocean Racer is also out of the question for me, as it has a lot of polished stainless as well. Just as well I am a fan of the Diver Pro! My first Breitling, almost 20 years ago, was a Colt with a rubber strap, and I always liked the looks of it.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing your decision. I had another look at the CO coral, and that really is an unusual and stunning colour, too.
Cheers,
Carl
