I'm trying to get together people interested in getting together to talk watches... Breitlings specifically, but Rolex, Omega, IWC, whatever.

I'm tired of explaining to my better half why I'd need more then one watch, or explaining to other people why ANYONE would want a mechancial watch, that you have to wind up every two, three days, or reset if it's an auto and you don't wear it for a short time, when for $50 you can get a nice Casio (which, I love by the way) that you'll never need to reset!

If you're in the Los Angeles, or Orange County or Ventura area (we even have someone from Las Vegas who has said they're interested in coming down!), and think it might be fun to get together for drinks and to show off your prized possessions to people who will APPRECIATE it, please let me know. We are thinking of having the first gathering mid June, in Redondo Beach, if that works for everyone.

I've started a thread on another board that goes by the initials WUS... if you're interested, either post here, or copy the list of interested people from the thread on that board, add your name to the bottom, and post a new thread with all of the names of those interested!

Hoping to get some swag from Breitling to bring to the gathering, but no promises, plus, we're hoping to meet the first time mid June, so it may be short notice.
