Hello

I purchased my first quality wristwatch back in January. I am 24 years old, and without making the right assessments I went for the Super Avenger as it kind of, well, the king of the reasonable Breitling Aeromarine watches. As it turns out, after 3-4 months, I think the watch is too big, too sparkling and perhaps a little bit tacky. It is not an attack on you guys who sport a S. Avernger, far from it, but I think it suits a certain type of man, and maybe I am just too thin and lanky still to pull it off.

I have a pretty thin wrist, but this does not mean that I want a really small watch. I tried on my friend's Jaeger LeCoultre Master Calendar, but I have to admit I didn't like its size. It's too small and fragile for my taste.

So I have to ask you guys, if I am going to sell my watch and buy a new one; which one should I go for?

I think the Rolex Submariner is a classic, but as I get bored easily it might turn out that way after a few months?
The Avenger Skyland is the same watch as the Super Avenger basically, also an option. The Panerai watches are interesting, but I do want a titanium/metal bracelet and not rubber.

Thanks guys.

I completely understand where you are coming from with the SA. I was very close to buying it, but could not convince myself that it looked good on my smaller wrist. I opted for the newer version of the Avenger (updated from the Skyland), which looks great on my wrist. If size is your only complaint about the SA, then you should check out the Avenger.

Have you looked at the SOSF?

+1. I'd also suggest the Steelfish. Also, make sure to try on the Omega Planet Ocean: it's a lot less flashy (than the SA), but still a modern, handsome design. It is available in both 42mm and 45mm size, so you can pick the one that suits you best.

I also love the Super Avenger, but I have very thin wrists. So, I went with the Avenger which is a Super Avenger minus about 3mm and it fits me perfect
