Bit of a wacky idea this, but since all companies love a bit of free market research I thought it might be quite nice if we did some for Breitling! As this community is now approaching a thousand members (with apparently many more casual readers) I thought I would run a little poll of what we would all like to see in terms of R&D from our favourite brand! Assuming we get a good response I thought I might then send the results on to Breitling. (Due to the relatively small number of active members on here I'll probably keep it to % figures of respondees!) The list above is based on things that have been discussed or at least mentioned on here in the past. (BTW, if you choose "Other", please specify below). I don't know if Breitling would take a blind bit of notice of it, but then again we are their loyal customer base, so if any of it spurs them on to produce different models in the future, then it’s got be worth it. Beside it will only take me a few mins to send the info off to them. |

I would like to have a manufacture series from Breitling. That might happen in the future, but I expect it to happen first to Breitling for Bentley, as Breitling should not have more "Subbrands" I don't want the full brand changed to manufacture, as the pricing would explode. BG Thomas |

To expand on Thomas' thoughts.... A manufacture exhibition back, but do it in such a way that it can still be vaguely affordable to the dedicated non billionaires among us - for example price it as a complication 19, not a complication 29. Oh yeah, and also a special edition issued (read 'free') to BreitlingSource members. |

I'd like to have: B13 (Valjoux 7750) with day-date, on as many models as possible (SOH Chrono, Chrono Cockpit first of all). Models with "normal" case size, that is 38-40 mm (like Chrono Cockpit, soh 38 mm) Chronos with non-contrasting counters: black on black, blue on blue, but best blue dial with black counters and calender discs All steel bracelet fitted with the new double-push-button clasp of the rubber strap Ocean Racer (at least as an option to the todays safety-clasp folding clasp) dropping windrose and 0/100 options for the 0-60 countup lunettes and tachy/puls rings. |

I WANT A YELLOW DIAL STEELFISH!!!!!! ok, got that off my chest.......but seriously....dials are a relatively cheap way to broaden the appeal How about we do a Breitlingsource logo dial (yellow on a steelfish???) limited edition for members of the forum How many do they need to do a limited run?? or an a-la-carte line like leica do with their cameras....choose strap, bezel, dial, numerals, movement etc etc http://en.leica-camera.com/photography/ ... _la_carte/ |

Some interesting "would likes" there, Robertus61. I definiteley agree with the new clasp idea. |

Display backs definately. Even if they are only available special order. I suppose the level of watertightness on some models would be an issue though. Personally, I'm not fussed about how attractive the movements currently hidden are, I'd buy a display back yesterday if they were commercially available from Breitling. |

I voted "other". My reason, is there are two things in the poll I'd like to see. More ladies models (preferably an automatic ladies piece), and more display backs. ~Brian |

We need a 2 tone 48 MM EVO Rose Gold and Stainless with Roman Numerals on a mop dial with darker sub dial options like MOP with black or blue sub dials and it should be at least 18.5 MM thick with 24 MM lug width. Now that would be an EVO the existing ones are beautiful but WAY TOO SMALL ! |

I'd love to see a homage to the classic vintage Navitimer. Hand wind Venus 158 movement (and a display back) ![]() Can't imagine they would omit Breitling and just put AOPA on the dial so maybe 60's rather than 50's style. |

I am now saving for a watch for my wife and although she likes the Starliner.. I dont because its a quartz and I find myself trying to lure her away from it and towards a Rolex or another swiss automatic. Scott |

Well if we are going to get into throwbacks then let's have a return to the script name from the 60s and earlier rather than the printed versions of the last 40 years. |
