Hi All, I am having a little trouble here and it would be great to get your opinions....... Within the next week I will be getting a new addition to the (small) collection and adding one more watch to the collection. I have always had my mind set on the Navitimer 125e. I have seen it in the flesh and is a really stunning watch and super unique. With the sky racer bracelet its either a love it or hate it kind of watch. I will probably get an additional leather strap on deployment to go with it so I would have the option. As I am not in the position to buy watches on a whim, so I like to take my time and research as much as I can before laying down the cash. I have always liked the bentley watches but I have always seen the HUGE ones and didn't really realise that they actually did smaller diameter ones. I LOVE the mark IV but out of my price range. However the GT is the kind of size that might work...... I have quite slim wrists (just over 6 1/2") and so need to be careful that it doesn't look ridiculous on my wrist. Have any of you chaps on here been in similar predicament? do you own such watches and could perhaps share your experience with regards the the pieces and what they are like to live with and how they look on the wrist? By the way, I have a B2 at the moment and have a pro diver strap with deployment on order. It would be nice to try and get a different look with a second watch which is why I am steering clear of the more sporty looking models for this next purchase. It would just be nice to hear what you guys think. |

I understand your situation, I have a number of watches ranging from 43mm to 49mm and I have a 7inch wrist. I personally prefer watches in the 45-46mm range and the Bentley GT is right in that sweet-spot. I was within a few minutes last week of adding a special edition dial GT to my collection and I just missed out...which I'm still peeved about. Tough call on which one to go with, both are great looking watches. I would lean more towards the GT because I love the size, bezel, and day/date feature. BUT the Navi 125e is also a beautiful piece...can't go wrong with either one. Good luck! |

Go with the GT. Some have even said that the Bentley GT somewhat resembles a Navi face. |

Thanks for the advice so far chaps. I know that the diameter of the face is 44.8 on the GT however it is somewhat wider with the case included. Can anyone tell me the total width (without crown) of the GT? I would usually just go and have a look at my AD. However my AD is in the UK and is one of my best pals so I will be buying from him. I will try and see one here in Denmark to compare but my be a little tricky..... I may not be able to see it in the flesh. I don't suppose anyone has a wrist shot or two of the GT on a smaller size wrist so I could see how it looks? |
