It's Vegas, definitely shiny. I'll be there in August to pick up my first one, you know what the best place to find one there is?

I believe there are 4 ADs in Vegas, I'll give you a pm with my opinion of the best one when I'm back :)

Thanks, on Breitling's website I think it shows like 12 or 14 of them there, so there should be a great variety to choose from. The only reason I asked was that I've been to some places that sell high end stuff like Breitlings and they have like 4 watches and they're the most expensive ones, I don't want to waste my time going to a store to look at $10000 watches I can't afford. Have fun in Vegas.

So I just got back on Monday from Vegas, and at a guess every 5th guy was wearing a shiny Super Avenger, or Chronomat / Two tone. I mostly noted this around the pool, and this was at Vdara which isn’t big!. So I imagine there’ll be even more Breitlings in the wild at the casinos. I know I was spotting them everywhere…but I’m a bit of a freak.

Anyway I wore my CA, and I was kinda glad I did. I would’ve felt like another b’linged out poser had I been wearing my shiny Airwolf. I’d say take both. When you’re walking the strip by day with a yard glass, or around the pool I’d go for subdued. When dining out, seeing a show, or gambling I’d go shiny.

As for AD’s I checked out 7 of the 14 listed on Breitlings website, and by far I’d suggest checking out Radiance (It’s in Aria near the high stake craps tables). They had a good range, a few new pieces and best of all for me was they carried Richard Mille. Drool central. They were also really personable, great to talk to and just let you try on watches.

My second would be the Watch Boutique in the Mirage. Again, nice range including some new pieces (Blue chronospace on blue diver), and were very friendly. Horologio had an ok range, including a mutant Airwolf Raven (white dial on a bracelet) but no customer service.

Tourneau was an amazing experience to wander through for a watch buff. Massive store with a huge range of brands, but their Breitling collection wasn’t that impressive, and their customer service was downright rude. I’d take my money elsewhere.

I would’ve gone into the remaining 7 AD’s but my GF literally would’ve killed me. The 7 was almost enough for her to go over the edge.

BTW try a Pineapple Chipotle Margarita from Rumbar in Mirage. Awesome drink.

I too would strongly suggest not buying there. They cater to the impulse shopper who had a big win and doesn't want to bargain. They'll screw you for sure.

I was in Vegas last year and the guy next to me at the blackjack was wearing a coral superocean. I made a comment about it, and he explained to me that he was so happy because he had just picked it up from the pawn shop where he had pawned it when he ran out of money
How can you not love that place?! :cheer:

Thanks for the replies, I did not think about the pricing, it does make sense they are overpriced. What a shame as I've held off on a few purchases here!

Was thinking of taking both but don't wanna risk it as I doubt my Insurance company will cover me for the cost! :)

Thanks again! :lingsrock:

I'll be in Vegas next week too. 8) I plan to bring both of my Breitlings plus a Bathys Hawaii and a Seiko spring drive for the trip. I've been to Vegas many times now but only once since I became a WIS. I'm sure I was looking at people's wrists last time I was there but I don't recall seeing too many watches period. Maybe it'll be different this time. I've already gathered that there are no real deals to be had there so it'll be all window shopping for me. The nice thing is that there will be tons more watches there than where I live so hopefully I can check out stuff that I don't get to see here.

What I'll be packing:

How can you not go shiny in Vegas 24/7?

I was at the Aria pool a few weeks ago and saw a lot of Rolex. Then again I wasn't really looking either. Way too many things competing for my attention......

I wore my Chronomat when I was at the Belagio last summer - I think shiny looked fine!
