Does anyone have any intel on when the price increase will take effect and how much it will be on the SA. or at least a good guess. my AD says from8-12% sounds like alot to me

Does anyone have any intel on when the price increase will take effect and how much it will be on the SA. or at least a good guess. my AD says from8-12% sounds like alot to me

My AD told me the price increase would be April 1st. As for a percentage, she didn't know for sure. She did say Rolex went up 13% this year, so 8-12 could be reasonable. And by reasonable, I mean, "in line with other brands", not reasonable like "yeah, I want to pay 10% more for sometihng in a month that costs 10% less right now". I'm going to a least order before April 1, just to be sure. |

hate to break it to you but your dealer will not guarantee the price if you order. they are charged from breitling when the invoice is cut which is when the watch leaves the factory. so just because you order before 4/1 doesn't lock in the price. unless they are charging full list or close to it and then they can absorb the increase if it is not too much |

Sounds to me you should change your AD. At my AD it is perfectly ok to place an order just before an increase and then pay the agreed price when it arrives. |

Yeah, my AD is the same. In fact, it was her who said "be sure to order before April 1st so I can get you the better price". I absolutley trust her, so I feel comfortable about it. Of course, the bigger question is will I be able to wait that long!?

I have been told by a number of ADs the price is not fixed until invoice is cut which is at shipping, not order time. what kind of discount are you getting? it is possible that there is enough profit for them to absorb an increase in the price quoted |

For my latest watches, I've got between 15-20% discount. Mostly depending on brand and model. |

For Austria, we get new prices by April 1st. Although that has nothing to do with American or British prices... As the value of the dollar decreases every day, I would not be surprised, if the US prices will go up considerably. BG Thomas |

Just spoke w my AD to "lock in" my price he said April is when the prices will increase...he said he heard about 15% I know Rolex went to 20% (but then again they havent changed there pricing since 2005? is what I heard) Panerai is going up sometime in May... |
