If you want something with a bright face or something that sticks out a bit, I'd either go for a red faced Chronomat, a yellow Seawolf or a coral SuperOcean.

Unfortunately not, Doc. A yellow or coral Steelfish would be great but it's black, blue or silver (although it's actually more ivory) only, I'm afraid.

If you want a yellow Superocean I think you'll be looking at second-hand, as in recent years they have been coral instead of yellow. The only current yellow models are the Seawolf and the M1.

The yellow seawolf is really sweet in person. If I didn't already have the coral dail SO, I would be all over it. I've never seen the M1 in person in yellow, but it looks cool in the pictures. The red-dial Evo is one I would also like to see in person. It's really unusual. I'm tempted to say it's not for me, but that so often changes when you see one in real life.

Doctor Diesel, as you said, there's no substitute for trying them on, but I have some pics of my coral dial posted in the Gallery section if you would like to see how the color changes in different light. Just search for "coral" and you should find it easily. I absolutely love it. It's such a great "jeans and t-shirt" watch, but dressy enough for most everything, except a funeral, as I'm generally avoiding any attention that takes away from the family there.

No matter what you choose, I hope you know pictures will be required!

That's such a great looking watch. I love the way the light catches the dial. These Breitlings have a such a personality when you wear them, they really are terrific.

Yes, the watch is a great looking piece! Maybe not the "pop-out" contrasting color the doctor asked for, but still very nice.

So, doc, what's happening? ;)

Hey Doctor Diesel,

I cannot recommend more highly the Seawolf with yellow dial. Of my 3, it's by far my favourite. Of course I love them all, but even after 3 years I still get that special feeling when I put the Seawolf on.

For what it's worth, my 2 friends (who are wealthy buggers with amazing watch collections of their own) both still comment each time I wear the yellow Seawolf.

Of course it's personal choice, but of its type it's one very special watch.

Cheers,

Nick

Would really like a superocean in yellow but if I cannot find a new one (probably) will definately be going down the yellow Seawolf route....might even get it on the diver pro as the contrast in colours is imho awesome

going to start looking this weekend...been a bit busy at work last few days but at least the patient software system lets me view breitlingsource!!
