A few quick things...
1) Would it be cheesy to put something that is not Breitling Manufactured on a Breitling? I SOMEWHAT feel as though it would be like putting Toyota wheels on a BMW?
2) What places are recommended via internet?

Thanks for your thoughts! :lingsrock:

Some people will say that it's heresy, and I would have a tough time with trying to do a 'Breitling look cheaper', if that makes sense. However for something 'different' I have no issues. My favourite place (not cheap) is http://www.abp-paris.com/

I agree with Roff on this.

I always go for for OEM myself, and would never personally get a "standard look" non-OEM strap. But if you want something that Breitling doesn't actually make (e.g. a nice beaver tail strap - and no I'm not kidding! ABP do make such a thing!), then ABP Paris is a great bet.

I love changing straps on my B's...I don't feel it cheapens them in the least. Variety is the spice of life right!? Change it up, and enjoy it!

I would never swap out the bracelet on my Blackbird, but when I got my new Aerospace, I put the titanium bracelet into storage and installed a black Maratac Zulu strap that matches the face. It makes no attempts to look like a real Breitling strap, but I think it looks very good, like it belongs on the watch.

Altair has got to be the aftermarket strap King so I'd definitely recommend asking him if you want advice.

To date I've only used Breitling OEM straps but on my non-Breilting watches, it's fair game as far as I'm concerned :D Brands I've heard of that are really good include Greg Stevens Designs and Rob Montana. There's also a website called www.strapaholics.com that has some great info also.

I say got for it, there are some great aftermarkets out there.

I've mostly put OEM straps on my Breitlings, but I did order a custom made alligator strap for my SuperOcean. I got a Breitling tang buckle from my local AD to put on it and thought it was pretty nice. Ordering custom straps can be a lot of fun and I think that would be a great way to mount your Breitling on something different.

This is the custom strap I got. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but it was just what I wanted:

I have quite a few aftermarket straps. Neither of them are looking like the Breitling OEM strap (I don't see a point in trying to look similar just to save a few bucks), but for straps that are different I don't have any issue with aftermarket straps. Mine are mostly from ABP but also JnS and a few less known.
