I did a quick search of the gallery and the rest of the Interweb, and I don't see any photos of a Blacksteel on a bracelet. I'm imagining a titanium or brushed steel bracelet. I even tried that crazy Japanese site, but they don't even have the Blacksteel case as a choice. So does anyone have a picture, or have they seen a Blacksteel on a bracelet? Would it just look silly? I need to know. |

I think it would look silly.. HOWEVER, I think that if you could get a Pro II bracelet DLC Coated or something like that.. so that it would match more closely the color of the Black steel it would look awesome. ![]() |

I can't see a stainless bracelet looking too good unless it was black steel like the watch. Personally, I think the Diver Pro rubber strap with the black steel clasp suits the watch perfectly. I love the look. Also, as it is a Limited Edition, I prefer to keep the whole watch and strap combination exactly as original. I plan to have this watch for many years, so I hope they don't discontinue the Diver Pro strap. If the strap gives out in a few years, I can always get a new one and replace the clasp with the original black steel one. A black steel stainless bracelet would be a very expensive undertaking, if it were possible. The Blacksteel is already about a grand more expensive than the regular Avenger Skyland with the stainless strap, so the blackening process must be very expensive. Anyway, just my thoughts. I have seen a few strap variations in this forum which look great, though. Cheers, Carl |

That is mainly what's keeping me away from the Blacksteel - the lack of a matching bracelet. I personally don't think the blackening process can be that expensive - my guess is most of the price difference is due to the limited edition. |
