Post subject: | Cosmonaute 125th Anniversary / Navitimer 125th Anniversary |
I had a chance to try this thing on a while ago, but the Air Racer bracelet is not for me (it wasn't comfortable a bit). Since the leather is also not my kind of thing, and a rubber strap would look weird on a Navitimer/Cosmonaute/Montbrillant, I've started wondering whether the 22/20 Navi bracelet from a "regular" Cosmonaute would fit the 125th Anniversary model? They seem to share the exact same diameter and thickness, so I suppose they share the same movement and same case. Can anyone confirm my theory? In the case it could work out, I'd be happy to know the $$ impact on such a deal. E.g. MSRP of the Cosmonaute 125th (either US or EU price), and the MSRP of a 22/20 stainless-steel Navi bracelet. Thanks, Fiery |

I'm pretty sure that it is the same case. US list for the Navi bracelet is $1,400. |

Am I right in assuming that to make sure it'll have a proper resale value, it is best to order a Cosmonaute 125th with the Air Racer bracelet even if I never plan to wear it on it? Since it is a special bracelet that only comes with such Limited Edition models... |

I think that you'll be better off just saving the money up front. |

I've just returned from my AD. Quite frankly, I feel confused. The sales lady tried to dig out prices for the Cosmonaute 125th (the all steel model), but it's not listed in the 2009/2010 AD catalog at all. How come the watch is on the Breitling website, but not in the AD catalog? They have a Navitimer 125th (43mm, black dial) on stock, on the Air Racer bracelet. It's a stunning watch, but the sales lady couldn't confirm if it shares case with any other Navitimer/Montbrillant watch. Since it's 43mm, my guess would be that the Navi 125th uses the Montbrillant Datora case, hence the bracelet from the Montbrillant Datora could be put on the Navi 125th. But it would be quite risky to buy the Navi 125th, order a Montbrillant Datora bracelet for it, and only then find out that it wouldn't match. Is there any way to check whether that theory stands? Off-topic: the "new" B01, with the brushed bezel is slightly more expensive than the B01 2009 model. I guess brushing the bezel is an expensive labour ![]() |

Thank you for the pictures. It's surprising to see the Navitimer 125th on a rubber strap, but it looks very good actually. Too bad I've already spent my budget allocated on this purchase on another two Breitlings: a 44mm Chrono-Matic for me, and a Cockpit Lady for the wifey ![]() |

i did not realize the 125th navi is 43mm...should've known since it shares the same movement as the skyracer. guess i never took notice because the price point is high for what it is and the bracelet is ugly imo. at least breitling is moving closer to my dream of a 43mm navi with in-house movement ![]() also is that a NOS b-2 in the back of the navi nowayman? can't believe an AD would still have that model if it's not used! |
