Hi I dropped my Breitling Navitimer on the ground today, now the second hand stops right before the 12 o' clock marker. Has this happened to anyone before if so is there a way to fix it? Thanks |

It will need a trip to Breitling I'm afraid. It sounds as though something is damaged in the movement. It could be any number of things but it will need a service centre to address. |

If you got it at an AD (authorized dealer) bring it back there and they will send it in for service. You could also send it directly into BUSA in CT. Are you under warrenty? |

If you have a serial number then go to the Breitling website under maintenance centres and find your national service centre. In the US that's BUSA in CT. If you don't have a serial number then you have a problem - Breitling won't touch it and no one else can get hold of Breitling parts. |

cstarace2 wrote: The cerial # is A13322 That's the model number, not hte serial number. There should be another number on the back - you don't have to tell us what it is, but if it's there then Breitling will repair the watch. If the online dealer removed it to protect the AD that they bought the watch from then you have a problem. |

I was told by my salesman that we as watch owners can not send it directly to Breitling for repairs, it has to go through an AD...true or false? I've never had to send a Breitling in yet but other brands allow us to send it directly. |

BUSA will reimburse you up to $50 in shipping charges. I'm not sure what Breitling's policy is elsewhere in the world, though. If you have questions, the customer service dept at BUSA should be able to help out. They've been wonderful to work with thus far for me. -Craig |
