I visited my AD in Toulouse this morning and...

Image

It's simply magnificent, and when I have time I'll post some better pics!

The watch is enormous compared to my Submariner, and even the Chronomat, but it just reeks quality and I'm a very happy boy...personally I don't think it's that big, as you can see from the wrist shot.

Image

Incidentally, my AD gave me a very nice little present - an EILUX watch winder - so thumbs up for Déro in TOULOUSE France!

Sorry - forgot to mention it's a Breitling for Bentley 6.75 in Steel with the Speed bracelet.

Sportback,

CONGRATULATIONS !!! You will see in a few days that it will not even seem that big at all. That is until you put on one of your older half Lings. How do you like the way the bracelet expands into the watch from the 4th link down? That one looks almost exactly like mine, I have the same dial color on my Motors. Now stick with what I told you before and that is don't put on one of your older Lings for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks try one out and you will see that it will look like a Communion Wafer. Good Move, Smart Move ENJOY !

Thanx - appreciate it - the Avenger Skyland 'Blacksteel' is still on order, and when it eventually arrives I'll be very happy with it, even if it's not a Bentley.

As I've already mentioned often enough, the bling factor really leaves me cold - this watch is for me alone to appreciate - I'm not going to be in the slightest bit dissappointed if no-one ever comments on it - I know what I like, and for the moment, this is it!

This said, it's not going to stop me swamping the forum with photographs - when and if I can actually take some decent ones!!

Sportback,

I like the Averger Skyland but I like it in regular steel as I think that theblack steel gives it a "camping out in the woods look" but it's still great watch. If you like black steel look into Zenith Defy watches. They have many combinations of black steel and regular steel and gold with black steel. I've also become interested in Roger Dubuis watches thy are really cool too. Another congratulations is located below.

What can I say!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx guys - although it's not the reason I bought the 6.75, it's good to feel it's among friends!

Best regards from France

Ian

As far as I can tell.

On a related subject, I wound up my Chrono Avenger and changed the date yesterday, and now the date is stuck between the 14 and the 15 ! Can't imagine what I've done, but even sweeping the hands past midnight won't budge the damn thing...any ideas?

 That's not good! Did you change the date when it was after 9pm or before 2pm? It is typically recommended that you do not do this... as the date changer is in effect at these times.. did you trying going back and forth at all in quickset date mode?

Maybe Vanessa can come help!

What a beautiful timepiece
That's the right choice for dial color! Looks awesome and it doesn't look big on your wrist at all. You can definitely pull that off.

On my girly wrist, it would definitely look like a travel alarm clock strapped onto my wrist. A very beautiful one that is.
