Post subject:  In store service/14 seconds a week.

Newbie Breitling owner and loving it just checked the watch off a official website and its running 14 seconds slow in one week, its first week(its second hand), I presume this is good considering it was sitting on in the display shelf for, not sure but I reckon one year. So is this good? Will it get progressively slower? Second it was serviced in late 08 by the ABD I purchased it off which is very reputable. I have a feeling this was a "in house" service. So is this the same as a "send away to Breitling" service? Also the service book has no record of the service in 08. Should I get the ABD to stamp it and will this take or add to the service history, as in, will it count as a "Breitling" service?
Replies Greatly appreciated.

-14 per week = -2 per day = very acceptable = nothing to worry about.

As RJ says the accuracy is fine. It will conrinue to adjust over the next few weeks and may change from what you have seen - by late May you'll have a better idea of it's true accuracy.

If your AD is an authorised service centre then the service by them should be equivalent to a basic service by Breitling. No idea why they didn't complete the service book but they should have records and be able to update the book.
