Thanks to George at Govberg, our son will be receiving this gem in celebration of his upcoming graduate degree. While no material "thing" can express the love and pride of two parents with the good fortune of having such a fine young man for a son over the last twenty-eight years, at least we feel this will be something memorable he will enjoy for many years to come. He's always made his own decisions and that includes this! While only my third new Breitling purchase, it was very exciting receiving this Friday so I did cheat and sneak some photos to share before boxing it back up until we present it. The more I look at this dial, the more I like it! BTW, when did "Swiss Made" make it back onto Chronomat dials? I know the B01 has it, but the Evo? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Beautiful new dial!!!! I wasn't aware of them putting "swiss made" back on the dials. Its not on the config. tool on the UK website. I do like that addition though. |

Congratulations on the acquisition, and more importantly congratulations to your son and to the two of you for raising him. Breitling seem to be putting Swiss Made back on their dials now - the last year or so have started to see some changes - I'm guessing that it's because of the constant rumours (untrue) that they didn't put Swiss Made because they weren't made in Switzerland. |

Very nice. I purchased a second Blackbird with the black eye/blue dial. I nevr liked it much until I saw it in person. The blue shimmers and it wasn't until I looked at it under a loop that I realized there were metallic flecks in the blue. It's most certainly a sunlight dial. |
