...... you spend 5 days watching an item on eBay, fully planning to wait until the last 5 mins to snipe it, and then you go and BL**DY well forget to bid until 3 minutes after the auction closes!! Arrggh!   And THEN, to add insult to injury you realise it went for absolute peanuts too!

This is what is was watching -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3D1&_rdc=1

Yes it's missing the paperwork apart from the COSC cert, but it's 100% genuine (I used to own one) and a quick service at Breitling would sort it out anyway.

Gutted.

Damn!! I've done that a few times aswell! (forgotten)

Plus, that was quite a good price for such a complicated piece!

I've gotta try some of those automated bidder sites in future. This isn't the first time I've missed something I was planning on bidding on. :boohoo:

Never mind, guess it wasn't to be.

How about when you go to your nearest large city and ask in two large jewelers "do you have any watch winders" and you get answered " whats a watch winder"!!!!!!
