I just received and email from my AD indicating they just had their semi-annual Breitling meeting and were told - no dealer cost increase this year. I know an earlier thread indicated dealer cost was being increased by Breitling. Have others actually talked to their AD? Just wondering, pricing, dreaming.... |

I think the truth is no end user price increase - decision was made to increase dealer cost (or at least percentage of list) as of May 1st. Decision was 100% made so would have to have been reversed. |

I've been told by George who confirmed it with their Breitling rep that dealer cost is going up on May 1. If anyone is planning on picking something up, better do it before May 1. I know anything ordered after that will be priced higher but I'm not sure what happens with their current inventory. |

Interesting. Maybe my AD is telling me what I want to hear. But if the dealer is willing to offer same discount and take smaller profit/watch - ok by me. My AD's Breitling rep has reserved the first SOHC - green bezel in my state with a retail list of $5,090(about $300 more than the standard ones). That will be after May 1, so we'll see what they are willing to do then in terms of a discount. |
