Post subject:  Power Reserve - Avenger Seawolf

I have a year old Avenger Seawolf, never had a problem with the power reserve, I work a rather sedentary office position, and noted this morning that it stopped ticking, after I took it off yesterday at about 4:30 pm. When I picked it up at about 8 am this morning, and moved it from side to side, it started ticking again. So I reset the time, without completing a manual wind. Question: Is the power reserve based on a full manual wind? Would it be considered normal for this movements power reserve to lapse based on little daily movement, then sitting for about 15 hours? Am I getting that lazy? Thanks![/b]

It is common for a watch to not get wound enough via automatic wind for people that lead very sedimentary office lives.. i work in an office but never reallly have that problem, except occasionally with my Caliber 13 based Breitlings, which only wind one-direction so wind less often. Yours is Caliber 17 based, so it's not that. Try this: manually wind it up about 40 times, and let it sit, and see how long it runs.. it shoudl run 40-42 hours... if it does, then its just your lack of movement, if it runs less, take it in for servicing :)

Many thanks for the detail. This is the first I have noticed of this issue in about a year of intermittent wear. I will leave it on through the day/night for a spell and see what occurs.
