I got home from work and there was a nice box from Breitling USA on my door step. In side was a nice note from BUSA and the AD welcoming me to the family along with a nice Breitling pilot's hat!

A++ to Brietling USA!

Hey there,
Funny that the same thing happened to me yesterday!

My wife checked the porch and informed me that there was a package for me. I really got excited to see it was from BREITLING!!

Very nice black pilot and card. I honestly didn't expect to get anything from them since my purchase was for a Colt.

What happens if you bought your breitling from a US Authorised Dealer but live somewhere else, do they still get a cap?

Sorry to ruin the surprise.

I didn't by my Breitling expecting to get a gift or even a thank you, but they just made a customer for life. This is the type of service that should come with high end luxury watches.

Isn't it amazing how simple this is? When you compare the cost of a hat to the cost of the watch, it is absolutely a no-brainer. It blows my mind how other companies don't recognize this. There are some whose idea of customer service is to provide someone in India, who is looking at the exact same public website that I'm looking at, to help me.

Oh, and my other comment is that if I didn't know better, I would say that parcel delivery services:

1) park down the street and wait for me to leave before "attempting to deliver" my packages;

2) leave valuable consumer goods, (guitars, electronics, watches) in clearly labeled manufacturer boxes identifying them as such, sitting in front of the door;

3) take things worthless to anybody else but vital and precious to me (like legal papers and love letters with enclosed photos) back to their out-of-state distribution center, where I can pick them up "at my convenience" between 10 am and 2 pm, Monday through Thursday, except for lunch hour, which runs from 11 am to 1 pm.

Enjoy your new watch . . . and the new cap!

Peace

Mike

I don't know about other companies but I have enjoyed the limited service interaction I've had with BUSA. I've purchased several Breitlings in the last few months. I called BUSA Monday to confirm all serial #s were registered. They asked me to email which I did. Within 5 minutes of hitting send I received an email that all save the last purchase were in the system. At the end of the email was an apology of sorts indicating the emails were being referred to customer promotions since all they had sent me were the Book(twice) and a hat. Evidently more "stuff" will be on it's way soon. That's good; I like "stuff."

All things being relatively equal, a little customer appreciation goes a long way.

Wow! I didnt receive crap when I paid full retail for my PANERAI from Tournaeu. One more reason why i give BUSA the edge.

my cap showed up today, about 4 weeks after the purchase. I purchased from an AD in PA (George) and my B01 was delivered to me in GA.
