Has anyone seen pictures of the new basic Superocean? I think in looks alone it's a tremendous improvement over the old model. The numerals on the dial are slanting attractively forward, as are the numerals on the new style bezel. The bezel is colored, making it very easy to read -- a necessity for a diver. That's one thing I never liked about the Breitling diver's watches: the unpainted bezel, with smallish numerals, makes it awfully hard to read underwater.
Another neat touch is the side ring around the dial: it comes in a number of colors -- blue red, yellow, etc -- giving a dramatic look to the black dial and black bezel.
The slanted numerals, dial and bezel, enhance the forward slash of the bracelet links. Everything seems to work together perfectly. If I didn't have my Steelfish, I think I'd get one...
