Forum feels slower, getting more server errors...

I only upgraded the forum software.. it is unlikely that the software would have slowed the forum down. On that note, it seems normal speed here, and I haven't noticed any speed issues. Are you still experiencing it or was it a temporary thing? I will look into the smilies error. Previous poster mentioned "getting more server errors" - could you please elaborate? I don't know where to look. |

The servers seem to be doing some weird things lately. The timestamp on the server was off this morning around 8am Pacific for a couple of hours or so. It was about 5 hours behind which can cause problems with not being able to post (says that you can't post so soon after your last post because it thinks that you have posted in the future), shows read threads as unread for the same reason and can also cause posts to be out of sequence. I think that the same thing happened for half hour or so on Saturday. Can't say that I have seen any speed problems, but then as we know I am on dial up at home. |

I have experience what Roff posted. Speed issues are minorish. Server errors are major. Software/Coding can easily affect the speed btw. |

I get the same thing as Roff. The time will change back and forth and it wouldn't let me send PMs for awhile since it said it was too soon after my last post, even though I hadn't posted anything. |
