I have no clue, packed, standing gig. In very close quarters to a lot of people for over 2 hours. By the time i noticed it had gone it was too late to do anything about it :(

That sucks.

At least insurance will help, but still a lot of aggro, and in those circumstances I guess there is little chance of recovery.

Im just wondering? Did you get pick pocketed? Was the watch on you? The reason I ask is because I was wearing one of my watches once and a firend of mine who is the son of a police chief took the watch right off my wrist without me knowing. I know its WAY to hard to believe but its true. One of the most amazing things every

Mate, that is bad news :(

I've seen it done on TV, but it always amazes me when I see watches removed without people noticing  especially a big heavy Breitling

I have seen this done many times and its usualy commited by or more people working together one to distract and the other to do the taking, Look at the start of Oceans 11 to see how easy it is, Its very possible to do this if your good and its really hard to get the insurance to pay out as they often dont belive its happened, and try to get out of the claim

Really sorry to hear of theft and I hope your SOH is replaced asap! A friend ended up at a dinner with Richard branson and after shaking his hand found his watch was missing! He'd managed to take it off without my friend feeling a thing! He did give it straight back though.I never really believed it but I guess it can be done!

wow so sorry to hear this. this kind of stuff irritates the hell out of me. good thing you were smart enough to get the insurance. just curious does this fall under your house insurance or is it added as some sort of rider to your policy?
