I just purchased my first Breitling - Superocean Steelfish X plus black face prof II band. Words cannot describe how I feel about this watch. I want to thank everyone on this board because I spent many hours reading the threads and trying to decide which watch was best for me.

I must admit I had also strongly considered the Rolex Submariner. I know there are several members here who own both brands and like them both. To be honest, I didn't know a lot about Breitling other than John Travolta was their spokesperson. After reading this forum and the Rolex forum, looking at both watches, it was an easy decision. So many of you say on here that the watch will speak to you when you have it on your wrist - I didn't quite understand what was meant by that until now.

There were two main reasons I chose Breitling over the other watch:

1) I was impressed by the manufacturing process of the watch and attention to every detail.
2) I wanted a watch that not a lot of other people have - at least where I live.

Bottom line - I love this watch!

Congratulations! I got the same thing just 2 short weeks ago. The total watch is an absolute work of art! I just love the way the combination of polished and brushed stainless works. The longer you wear the watch, the more details you notice. The luminosity is incredible, very easy to read in the dark. It's a nice weight, without being too large or heavy on the wrist.
Enjoy every minute with your Steelfish!
Cheers,
Carl
