How often do you have to wind your Bretlings? I didnt wear my Chronomat for 1 day after wearing it for 3 days in a row and I got home from work and grabbed it off my dresser and it stopped at 1:30pm . Is this normal???

The power reserve is 42 hours from a full wind, but it will depend how active you are when wearing it as to whether it will get a full wind. The easiest way to test it is to manually wind to a full reserve (40 turns) and then leave it alone and see how long it runs for.

happens to me all the time. Although you wear the watch mosts of time the thing is that it may not have been fully wound up. you should try testing it and wind it fully one day and let it sit and see if you get 42 hrs or whatever the power reserve is. i am sure someone here will have a more technical explination for you.

Wearing it doesn't mean it gets a full charge. Especially if you work in an office on a computer!

Do you guys wind it manually every time you wear it? Even if its every day?

i use to but now i just wind them when i wear them. i posted a thread a while back asking if there were any negative effects to letting them die out and then rewinding them and the other members said it was ok. so no harm done.

No, and I disagree with Shadow 87 about working on a computer. I work on a computer every day and have never had to manually wind an automatic because it stopped after a day. If you are really not moving much - sitting around with a book or in front of the TV then it may not be enough, but anything cloe to 'normal' activity is generally fine. The gearing in Breitlings generally requires 650 - 850 turns per day to maintain power (i.e. to give 24 hours of power in a 24 hour period) and that's really not much - just think about the way that your arm swings when you walk.
