Thanks Alex, shame there's nothing for me to get excited about.

What's new with the SOH and SOHC? They look the same to me. Is the bezel supposed to be green or is it my monitor?

Is it the lighting or is that Flying B a blacksteel too? If so, they really need to lay off the DLC crack.

I'm really hopng Breitling is saving something big for Basel. Right now it doesn't look very promising. :(

Yes, red hands as well.

They clearly have run out of ideas.

I'm not sure what about the GMT referred above, but if that's all what Breitling brings to Basel, then I'll be truly disappointed. I expected a Navitimer B01 and/or a Blackbird B01 at least, and also was hoping to see an updated SuperOcean (not the Heritage version) or Steelfish. The GMT+ was already a huge disappointment to me, so were the new Aerospace dials for 2009.

And that green bezel for the SOH and SOHC is just too close to what Rolex did on the Submariner LV. Why can't Breitling think of a different colour, other than green?

As a recent (and fairly strong) critic of Breitling's direction of late, I'm going to say right off the bat that I really like the green bezel versions of SOH and SOHC! Yes it's very Rolex-like but I owned the Subbie LV in the past as I really liked that colour combo, but sold it because of the tin-foil clasp. This is a nice solid Breitling in the same style, so for that alone I really like it.

OK, so that's the positive. On the negative side, well, here we are yet again - nothing more than cosmetic reworks of existing models, plus that good old fall-back position of DLC-ing everything in sight rears it's head once more.

However, the ever-hopeful optimist in me (he is in there somewhere...... honest) is going to reserve a full judgement until after Basel itself. You never know, that 44mm+ B01-equiped Navitimer may be lurking out there somewhere. :poke:

Loved the green bezel in the Asian LE a couple of years back, and it looks good with the black.

Otherwise, as stated it's just cosmetic. The Flying B is referred to as 'Midnight' I believe so don't know if that implies different than DLC or just a different name for the Bentleys.

On the positive side, these are pre-Basel, so there is still hope - if this was all they had then it wouldn't be announced before the show.
